Florida Weather..Too Hot For Halloween?

Sturgis vs Daytona:

Yesterday morning it was 60 degrees warmer in Daytona than in Sturgis, where snow flurries flew. Florida is the warmest state in the country, with temps +10 degrees over normal, but what about next week, and Biketoberfest? Let's put it this way: If you're camping, don't worry about building a fire or bringing a space heater. By the time the party really gets going, next weekend, we'll finally cool down to the mid seventies. Atlantic ocean temps will be warmer than the air..just like a warm bath. Florida living is easy.. A string and a chicken neck will get ya free blue crabs for dinner--half dozen of 'em in a half inch of water--steam for 10 minutes & crack 'em open..at the right spot, on the right tide, you can fill half a bucket in 20 minutes, or you can live on 'burgers & spend your time blasting arround on the bike!

Omaha, Nebraska Girl Decides To Break Free:

The "Magician", (he makes beer disappear), is importing a hot honey from the snowbound midwest for Biketoberfest. Since the Magician is broke too, we'll grab a chunk of that $10/nite ground with the free inside showers. (don't know if she's hotter for him or the warm weather..only time will tell). If she's a real cowgirl, one sleeping bag and no air conditioning shouldn't be a problem, correct?

Spotnick's Cabbage Patch Announces Biketoberfest Lady Cole Slaw Wrestling:

Yes, sports fans... The girls will go at it again, atop a huge pile of chopped cabbage. The first fight begins promtly at 12 noon, this Saturday. The patch is about ten miles southwest of the speedway. Ask anybody how to get there, and DON'T PAY TO PARK! Look for the new "free parking" signs. If you pull into a lot where someone asks you for money, do a "180" & look again.

Come on down!

The real party doesn't get underway until about Wednesday or Thursday, but man, there are a lot of bikes on the road this weekend, and the local bike shop is swamped with dudes wanting their steel ponys yesterday! This summer, ABM's seen more bikes rolling up the miles out west, and down south than we can remember, ever. It's a great way to unwind. Take a free ride before cold winter weather sets in!
