Big Dog MC Going Broke?
Slow sales, disappearing tax break may spell disaster:
What a shame. First it was American Ironhorse, then Buell, along with a slew of lesser known manufacturers of higher end semi-custom bikes. Bad enough that Polaris, owner of Big Dog Motorcycles, builder of mid to high end factory customs has it's share of economic slowdown headaches, exacerbated by our wonderful banks refusing many consumer loans. Now BD is facing an extra tax burdon from the city in which they operate, the town citing the company's failure to keep up with projections of additional workforce hiring. Kick 'em when they're down. Real smart, knowing the company has had to idle it's production line twice already this year, and is said to be seeking a merger of equals, or, perhaps in the worst case scenario, an outright sale.
What does the city want, a total failure? Politicans don't get it. Maybe obtaining a real job would help, that is, if you find one.

Just a minor correction....
Big Dog MC is not owned by Polaris. Polaris owns Victory Motorcycles.
