Rossmeyer Empire Liquidating! ABM Exclusive!

Sold!

Boston HD-Ft Lauderdale HD-Colorado Dealerships! Gone: Bruce Rossmeyer's Hummer, 1940 Ford! Is Destination Daytona on the Block?

Employees being laid off faster than Kane West can lose his mind!

Destination Daytona: The former Arlen Ness store, selling Ducatti's, Triumphs, etc closed, moved to the Harley store. Most employees laid off, no severance. Survivors move across parking lot to Destination Daytona, face uncertain future. Sunrise HD, Pompano HD, both on the block.

Roger Penske a DD Bidder? Strictly a rumor, but...

The smart money is betting on Penske's bid for DD to be successful. Beyond that, total silence. This Penske dude has some serious cash under the couch cushions! We think it might be a change for the better, considering what's going on with the will.

Why the sudden liquidation?

ABM sources say it's because of the late Mr. Rossmeyer's will--he gave equal shares of the empire to his five kids and wife, to be evenly split six ways. Bruce had maintained a rock solid 51% of the empire. Rumor has it that one of the daughters wanted her cash right away. In steps the fed, looking for their share, but first they must determine net fair value of the empire in order to cash in on the family's wealth.

The Big Power Shift:

For the past five years, huge Destination Daytona, better known as "Rossmeyer World" has dominated the bike week scene, but this seems to be comming to an end. Biketoberfest '09 shows downtown's Beach Street, Main Street packed to the rafters with vendors, while the parking lot at Destination is half empty. This is a major change for Daytona's bike weeks, and a move that locals say will bring money back to the poorer sections of town, where income is sorely needed. UNREAL, dude, UNREAL.
