What's Different?
Lots of stuff. Beleaguered Beach Street is trying to make a comeback, as Harley Davidson anchors the big lot right across the street from the old Daytona Harley dealership. Bring your helmet and a license, get a ride on one of the brand new 2010's. Ditto over at the speedway with the foreign bike makers. Back to Beach Street. The whole 3 blocks was supposed to be lined with brand new condos by now. That is, before real estate went bust. Now, they're happy just to rent the lot. Come on back tomorrow for a list of DBW-2010 updates, welcome center, trop tatt chop show, free rides, and more. If you're coming down for the weekend, don your long johns for the weekend evenings. Brrrr. Better wx next week!
Chilly or Cold? Where ya coming from?
A 58 degree day in the north might be a welcome respite from another impending snowstorm. In Florida, it's almost heresy. It all comes down to how bad you want to ride. Much as we hate to keep on with the weather, it's the number one story this winter. We're still looking for highs in the sixties next week, with a day or two of wet stuff. Not bad when you compare it to the alternative, which comes with nagging and a big fat snow shovel!
