Sudden Leather Weather--Daytona Vendors Scramble:

Sunday, Daytona, 3am:

ABM is outta that tent, and over by the fire pit, butt pointed toward the glowing coals.. 36 hours ago, slept in the buff, no bag. On this morning, you can see your breath, it's just that darn cold. So much for the "pleasant seasonal change", Santa Claus not withstanding.

Vendors Scramble:

According to ABM's intrepid street wise reporter, "Guppy", some sellers of shirts, chaps, & caps, were freaking out on Sunday morning, having expected to sell off the rest of their stuff. That last second cold plunge made thousands of day tripping Florida bikers decide to stay home. Many we saw began the trip to Daytona, but never made it past the local biker bars.

We Kinda Froze:

Having recently returned from the San Juan mountain range of Colorado, ABM was used to riding in cold weather, but the ferocity of this front surprised even us. Temps barely into the 60's, combined with a brutal northwest wind in the 20's was enough to make you wish home was right around the next bend. "Magician" rode two up from Georgia last Friday, in the 80's with nothing more than a tee shirt. Hope they bought some leather for the long ride back. He doesn't even own a bungee cord. Time for some storage?

Wild Hogs in St Augustine!

Florida Hog Rally--this Thursday thru Sunday in beautiful St. Augustine, Florida. Temps in the 80's...(they SAY)...ABM is "cautiously optimistic". We have no idea what they do at HOG rallys, but we're gonna find out Fri-Sat-Sun. Stay tuned to your local ABM station.
