For sale, or not? Is Destination Daytona on the block?
..Is anything for sale at the right price?
In an October 18th interview with the Daytona Beach News Journal, Will Rossmeyer, son of the late Bruce Rossmeyer, (victim of a July accident while riding in Wyoming), says some of the family's dealerships are for sale, including south Florida's Boca, Sunrise, and Pompano locations. If our math is correct, that would leave the family with 10 remaining HD dealerships. He says the 150-acre estate known as Destination Daytona, along with the other nine, will be managed by the family. He does not state that they "aren't for sale". Rumors grind. It's likely, nobody, including the family is 100% sure of future ownership issues. Rossmeyer's certainly have the chops to forge on, but do they have the will?
